SNAP is dedicated to removing some of the burden and stress that weigh so heavily on parents with a child who has special needs. One of our core services is to talk to parents and provide advice, guidance and a wealth of information to help them become the best advocates for their families.
SNAP does this in many ways. We conduct educational workshops across the country. We are on the phone and online when you need our expertise. Most important, SNAP and its volunteers have the knowledge to help parents find the resources, networks, and experts that make sense for their particular situation. Whether your child has down syndrome, autism, rheumatoid arthritis, spinal injuries, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, or other disabilities, SNAP can assist you in locating the local, regional and national support that meets your needs.
